Anyone can type a prompt and get something polished in seconds. So what is left for a creative director to do?

Almost everything that matters.

Strategy comes before the prompt

A good visual starts with a question, not a prompt: who is this for, and what should they feel? Before I generate a single frame, I work out the brand’s positioning, its audience and the message it needs to carry. That becomes the brief, and the brief is what keeps a hundred generations pointing in one direction.

Taste is the filter

AI is very good at producing options and very bad at choosing between them. My job is to curate: to see which image fits the brand’s character, which one only looks impressive, and which one will still feel right after the tenth time someone sees it.

Directing, not just generating

The first result is rarely the final one. I refine composition, light, mood and detail across many iterations, combine AI output with traditional editing, and make sure every visual in a campaign looks like it belongs to the same world.

Where it pays off

Brand identity: a consistent image style that makes a brand recognisable.

Ads: fast concepts and many variations for testing on social platforms.

Content: visuals and short motion pieces for Instagram and TikTok.

The short version

AI speeds up making. A creative director makes sure you are making the right thing.

They type “write me a post”, get the same generic text as everyone else, and decide AI simply can’t write.

The problem isn’t the tool. It’s how we talk to it.

AI is not a search box

ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are not reference books. They are a personal resource, and once you know how to work with them, they can save you up to 2 hours a day on writing, ideas, analysis, emails and routine tasks.

Imagine an encyclopedia that can think

A language model is a huge encyclopedia of the world’s knowledge. Except it doesn’t sit on a shelf: it reads your question and helps you apply that knowledge to your specific task.

So the better it understands who you are, what you want and what a good result looks like for you, the more precise the answer.

Where to write: three places, any will do

ChatGPT: chatgpt.com. The best known, great for getting started.

Claude: claude.ai. Strong at writing and reasoning.

Gemini: gemini.google.com. Built into Google’s services.

Where the “plastic” answers come from

When a request is short and vague, the model fills the gaps with the most average option it can find. That’s how you end up with:

clichés that say nothing;

an artificial, robotic tone;

shallow advice with no depth;

text that doesn’t sound like you or your brand.

It’s a sign the model is missing context and clear rules.

One of the rules: speak, don’t type

When you use your voice, you give three times more context than when you type. The details that seem unnecessary are exactly what makes the answer precise.

✗ You type: “Birthday party ideas.”

✓ You say everything: their age, the budget, what they love, where it is and how many guests.

Tap the microphone and talk for 30 seconds.

What’s inside the guide

I created a guide for people who are tired of artificial AI answers and want deep, precise and stylish results, for life or for business.

Inside are 10 tested, clear rules for tuning ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini to your wavelength. They teach the models to deliver thoughtful, high-quality work instead of bland mass-market text.

No fluff and no boring instructions, just practice for people who value their time.

ChatGPT — chatgpt.com.

Claude — claude.ai.

Gemini — gemini.google.com. Google.

банальні формулювання, які нічого не кажуть;

штучний, «роботизований» тон;

поверхові поради без глибини;
